If you mix one part Brazilian with one part Japanese in a German birthplace with a pinch of Pennsylvania and Virginia, add adventurous youth, a thirst for travel and a passion for fashion, you get Monn'Amur.

The actor-model moved from Japan to the States three years ago to pursue her lifelong dream to create her own clothing line. Since a child watching her mother design extraordinary clothes for her, Monn'Amur has been riveted to fashion, from T-shirts to couture.
After eight years of modeling the duds, Monn'Amur is ready to try her
hand at creating them.

"My inspirations come from art, music, people, high-end fashion
magazines, traveling or even a pair on sneakers she will never be able
to have and never forget," she says. "I am so excited about my very
own collection that is fashion but also a life style."

Monn'Amur says her new line is "for girls who enjoy clothing that is
simple but with an edge." She likes cuteness with a dark touch --
very girly with a hint of boyishness.

"I hope to develop a line of clothing to keep the buyers and customers
always interested and wanting for more," she says.

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in
the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live,
what is happening."
